  • It is important that we verify your ABA benefits with your insurance provider.

  • Most private insurance providers require their consumers to cover a copay when seeing a specialist.

  • To learn more about your ABA Insurance benefits, consumers can contact the members number on the back of their insurance card(s).

  • Some consumers have healthcare benefits through their employers, some through market place, and others through the state.

  • Some consumers have more than one insurance provider, wherein one would be considered their primary insurance and the other their secondary insurance.

    • In this case the primary insurance would get billed first and whatever costs the primary doesn’t cover, hopefully the secondary insurance will pick up.

    • The Primary insurance will mail the member an Explanation of Benefits letter (EOB) explaining what services/dates it covered and didn’t cover.

    • The ABA provider will need a copy of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) letter to submit it along with the ABA claims to the secondary insurance so they know what they need to pay for!

  • Regardless of your insurance coverage, contact Adaptive Connections to get the insurance verification process started!
