It is important that we verify your ABA benefits with your insurance provider.
Most private insurance providers require their consumers to cover a copay when seeing a specialist.
To learn more about your ABA Insurance benefits, consumers can contact the members number on the back of their insurance card(s).
Some consumers have healthcare benefits through their employers, some through market place, and others through the state.
Some consumers have more than one insurance provider, wherein one would be considered their primary insurance and the other their secondary insurance.
In this case the primary insurance would get billed first and whatever costs the primary doesn’t cover, hopefully the secondary insurance will pick up.
The Primary insurance will mail the member an Explanation of Benefits letter (EOB) explaining what services/dates it covered and didn’t cover.
The ABA provider will need a copy of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) letter to submit it along with the ABA claims to the secondary insurance so they know what they need to pay for!
Regardless of your insurance coverage, contact Adaptive Connections to get the insurance verification process started!
